Hi, my name is Lex! I am the owner and baker of Bright Eyed Bakery. I am a Columbia, SC native, a proud mother and stay-at-home wife. I have been baking for over a decade. When I first started, the only goal I had in mind was to cure my sweet tooth. I soon learned that it was much deeper for me. After mastering baking techniques, I moved into decorating, where I saw my prior creative skills blossom into a new art form. This journey has led me to create southern classics, which I grew up watching my Nana make, with a modern twist, of course. That's what makes Bright Eyed Bakery unique. With a positive mindset and innovation in mind, I am able to create custom cakes that exceed your vision.
